Today, unexpectedly, my dog’s life ended. For more than 13 years, Cairo was my best canine friend, my goofball companion, and possibly the happiest creature I’ve ever known. I really, really miss him.
Thanks Cairo, for being so tolerant of someone who'd never had a dog before and didn't really know what I was doing. And thanks for all those walks at Liberty Park.
What a great picture of the two of you. I am sad I never got to meet him. He sounded like an amazing dog. So sorry, Jeff.
ReplyDeleteJeff! I'm so sorry to hear about Cairo. Anyone who has lost a pet can attest to the depth of your sadness. We lost our 16 yo golden, Sallie, four years ago. Those memories will never leave you.
